REP. DENNIS WOOD
92nd General Assembly
Rep.
Dennis Wood, a Republican, represents a part of Stone and Taney counties
(District 62) in the Missouri House of Representatives.� He was elected to his first term in November
2002.
In
addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Wood has been a realtor for 25
years.� He has also worked as a builder
in the Kimberling City area and has owned a number of apartments.
Rep.
Wood is a member of the Rotary Club, where he served as past president and was
named Rotarian of the Year in 1995.� He
is also a deacon at the First Baptist Church, a past member of the board of
directors for Youth Life, a past board of directors member of the Chamber of
Commerce and an alderman in Kimberling City.
A
1963 graduate of Carlisle High School, Rep. Wood attended Cedarville College
and Drake University.� He was born
November 24, 1944 in Des Moines, Iowa.
Rep.
Wood lives in Kimberling City with his wife, Nellie Wood.� They have five adult children:� Korie, Kevin, Chad, Jason and Dusty, and
three perfect grandchildren.
