�REP. WES WAGNER

93rd General Assembly

 

Rep. Wes Wagner, a Democrat, represents parts of Jefferson and Ste. Genevieve counties (District 104) in the Missouri House of Representatives. First elected in 1998 and re-elected in 2004, Rep. Wagner is a member of the Laborers Union Local 718.

 

Rep. Wagner is the assistant varsity basketball coach for DeSoto High School.

 

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Wagner is a member of the DeSoto Elks Lodge 689, Hillsboro Lions Club, the Lambda Chi Alpha social fraternity, Co-Chair of the DeSoto High School Prop C Rollback Committee, the DeSoto Railroad Workers Memorial Committee and he also serves on the DeSoto High School A+ Program. Rep. Wagner is a past member of the Jefferson County Young Democrats and was elected as a state delegate to the 1992 Missouri Democratic Convention. Rep. Wagner attends the United Church of Christ.

 

A 1989 graduate of DeSoto High School, Rep. Wagner received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Southeast Missouri State University.  He is the grandson of the late William E. "Bud" Lewis who served as a state representative from 1974 to 1988.

 

Born January 21, 1971, in St. Louis, Rep. Wagner currently resides in DeSoto.
