HB1313I-CRIME VICTIMS' COMPENSATION FUND
Summary of the Introduced Bill

HB 1313 -- Crime Victims' Compensation Fund

Sponsor:  Lipke

This bill requires the Director of the Department of Revenue to
deposit an additional $350,000 annually into the Crime Victims'
Compensation Fund for the purpose of providing financial
assistance to regional crime laboratories if the labs are
registered with the federal Drug Enforcement Agency or the
Department of Health and Senior Services.

The director must also annually deposit $350,000 into the
Services to Victim's Fund to be used for shelters for victims of
domestic violence or agencies that provide domestic violence
direct services, emergency services, crisis intervention, and
victim advocacy and the Missouri Sheriff Methamphetamine Relief
Taskforce (MoSMART) Fund.
