HB 763 -- Railroad and Utility Taxes for Schools

This bill repeals a provision of current law that, beginning in
the 1996-97 school year, distributes taxes on railroad and
utility property to school districts throughout the state
through the foundation formula.

The bill continues the current method of distributing these
taxes under which taxes collected in a particular county are
divided among the school districts of that county according to
their "membership" pupil count.
