This bill adds the cutting or removal of vegetation, entry into
closed areas, and the operation and parking of boats and
trailers to the list of activities that must be specifically
authorized on Conservation Commission areas.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds.

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass" by the Committee on State
Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources by a vote of 9 to 0.

This bill adds boating, cutting or removal of vegetation, and
entry into closed areas to the list of activities that must be
specifically authorized on Conservation Commission areas.

HCA 1 -- adds the operation and parking of trailers to the list
of regulated activities.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that requiring authorization for
these activities will protect natural resources and enhance
public safety.

Testifying for the bill were Representative McBride; and
Missouri Department of Conservation.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
