PROPONENTS: Supporters say that this bill will save costs and
will save the clerk's office from difficulties when non-serious
write-ins occur. These positions are party positions and
therefore the parties should name the members if there are
vacancies.
Testifying for the bill were Representatives Days and Farnen;
Wendy Noren, Clerk of Boone County; and Missouri Association of
County Clerks.
OPPONENTS: There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
