HB 1480 -- Placard for the Disabled

This bill requires that a removable windshield placard need not
be renewed annually if the applicant presents a physician's
statement to the Director of Revenue when the applicant first
applies for a placard which states that the applicant's
disability is permanent.  A placard will be replaced free of
charge if it becomes worn or in need of replacement.  Any person
who uses a removable windshield placard which was issued to or
on behalf of a physically disabled person who now is deceased
will be deemed guilty of an infraction and subject to a fine of
not less than $250.
