HB 785 -- Alternative Medical Practices

Sponsor: Troupe

Under this bill the state is not allowed to interfere with the
practice of a licensed physician whose medical practices are
considered to be unorthodox by prevailing medical standards, as
long as those practices are not considered to be a threat to the
life or health of a patient. In cases of terminal illness,
physicians can at the request of the patient, provide
information on optional treatments and administer such
treatments.
