HB 840 -- Newborn Screening Tests

This bill permits the Department of Health to charge parents of
newborns a fee for each screening test made in its laboratory.
Health insurance policies that cover maternity and postnatal
coverage will also cover newborn screening tests. Fees will be
submitted with the test specimen.
