Current Bill Summary
SB 921 - The Board of Registration for the Healing Arts is
composed of nine members, five of whom must be graduates of
schools approved by the American Medical Association and two of
whom must be graduates of schools approved by the American
Osteopathic Association. This act permits the appointment of one
additional person who had graduated from a school approved by
either organization.
The act also includes physicians' health programs among the
entities which are immune from liability for providing
information to the Board of Healing Arts regarding licenses or
applicants for license during the course of an investigation.
