This bill authorizes the Commissioner of Administration to
distribute surplus or unneeded supplies or property to volunteer
fire protection associations.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that this bill allows volunteer fire
departments to receive surplus property.  Many of these
departments must function on limited resources.

Testifying for the bill was Representative Clayton.
