HB 448 -- Peace Officers Standards and Training

Sponsor:  Stokan

This bill delegates to the Peace Officers Standard and Training
Commission the rulemaking authority to regulate basic training
and certification, and also continued law enforcement training
for peace officers and reserve officers in the state.  The bill
also requires the submission of  proposed rules to the Joint
Committee on Administrative Rules to review, hold hearings, or
suspend according to grounds established in the bill.
