HB 475 -- Statute of Limitation in Tort Actions

Sponsor: Barnes

This bill makes the statute of limitation on defective or unsafe
conditions of improvements to real property start to run when
the improvement is substantially completed, rather than
completed. Substantially completed is defined. The bill also
expands the types of damages to which the statute of limitation
applies, so as to include any kind of economic loss.
