Youth and Families by a vote of 16 to 0.

The bill adds the Director of Labor and Industrial Relations to
the membership of the Children's Services Commission.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that the Department of Labor and
Industrial Relations should be represented on the Children's
Services Commission because the department is part of the caring
communities project.

Testifying for the bill were Representatives Shear and
McClelland.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
