Rep. Craig Redmon, a Republican, represents Schuyler, Scotland, Clark, Knox, Lewis and Adair counties (District 4) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2010.
In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Redmon owns a small business in Monticello. He previously owned and operated a convenience store.
Rep. Redmon is a 1977 graduate of Highland High School. Rep. Redmon received his B.S. from Culver Stockton College in 1982.
Born on January 29, 1959 in Kirksville, Rep. Redmon currently resides in Canton with his wife, Brenda. They are the parents of twins, Andrew and Audrey.
Modifies medical endorsement requirements for school bus drivers
Requires school bus drivers who are seventy years of age or older to complete the CDL Skills Test and the Driving Test on an annual basis
Modifies provisions relating to the service of process after the statute of limitations has expired for filing certain actions
Authorizes a sales tax exemption for utilities used for commercial food preparation
Changes the law regarding grants for water supply and sewer systems.
Modifies provisions relating to tax rates of school districts
Modifies the bonding requirement for the treasurer of a seven-director school district
