HB 210 -- STATE RETIREMENT

SPONSOR:  Deeken

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee on
Retirement by a vote of 11 to 0.

This bill allows retired state employees to request in writing to
have contributions to the Missouri State Employees Charitable
Campaign deducted from their annuity payment.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds in FY 2010, FY 2011, and
FY 2012.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that the bill will make it more
convenient for retired state employees to continue contributing
to the state charitable campaign.

Testifying for the bill were Representative Deeken; and Office of
Administration.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
