HB 1022 -- Conduct or Speech at Public Meetings Sponsor: Oxford Currently, any action seeking money damages against a person for conduct or speech at a public hearing or meeting is subject to a special motion to dismiss, motion for judgment on the pleadings, or motion for summary judgment so it can to be considered on an expedited basis to prevent the unnecessary expense of litigation.
