HB 1091 -- County Recorder Fees

This bill requires a county recorder to charge and collect a $2
fee in addition to any other authorized fees for the recording of
any instrument.  One dollar of the fee will be retained by the
recorder for record storage, microfilming, and preservation; and
$1 will be deposited into the General Revenue Fund to an account
of the Secretary of State for the additional preservation of
local records.

The provisions of the bill will expire December 31 six years from
the effective date.
