HB 1098 -- Public Water Supply Districts Sponsor: Sander This bill specifies that certain cities that purchase water at wholesale prices from any public water supply district for resale to the residents of the city at the same price as other retail customers of the district will be deemed to be part of the district and the residents of the city may vote in district elections. If a consolidated district with adopted subdistricts is enlarged because of the addition of a municipality that purchases water for resale to its residents, the district's board must redraw the boundaries of the subdistricts to include the city and ensure that the subdistricts are substantially equal in population.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
