HB 1110 -- Drainage District Sales Taxes

This bill authorizes drainage districts established under Chapter
242, RSMo, to impose, upon voter approval, a retail sales tax of
0.5% for the maintenance and operation of the district.  Moneys
collected from the tax will be deposited into the newly created
Drainage District Sales Tax Fund with 1% retained and deposited
into the General Revenue Fund by the Director of the Department
of Revenue for the cost of collection.
