HB 1139 -- Use of Eminent Domain by Corporations

Currently, an urban redevelopment corporation operating under an
agreement with a municipality executed on or prior to
December 31, 2006, may exercise the power of eminent domain.
This bill requires a public entity, political subdivision, or
governmental agency to have full ownership of any property
obtained by the power of eminent domain.
