HB 1160 -- Women's Heart Health Program Sponsor: Curls Subject to appropriations, this bill establishes the Women's Heart Health Program within the Department of Health and Senior Services to provide heart disease risk screening services to uninsured and underinsured women. The department must contract with health care providers who are currently providing services under the Missouri Show Me Healthy Women Program to provide screening services. Any woman whose screening indicates an increased risk for heart disease will receive appropriate follow- up health care services. The program services will be available to women: (1) Who are between the ages of 40 and 64; (2) Who are receiving breast and cervical cancer screenings under the Missouri Show Me Healthy Women Program; (3) Who are uninsured or whose insurance does not provide coverage for heart disease risk screenings; or (4) Whose gross family income is at or below 250% of the federal poverty level.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
