HB 236 -- Students with Disabilities Sponsor: Lipke This bill establishes Kaitlyn's Law, which requires each school district with a high school to develop policies and procedures by July 1, 2010, that allow students with disabilities who have completed four years of high school to participate in their graduation ceremony and receive a certificate of completion under certain circumstances. The policies and procedures must be given to students with disabilities and their parents or guardians in timely and meaningful notice.
