HB 290 -- Drug Testing of School Employees

Sponsor:  Wells

This bill requires each school district board of education to
adopt a policy, according to rules and regulations adopted by the
Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, for the random
testing of its teachers and other employees for the unlawful use
of controlled substances.  A positive test will result in
immediate dismissal.
