HB 309 -- Minority Impact Statements

This bill requires the Oversight Division of the Committee on
Legislative Research to include with each fiscal note whether or
not the proposed legislation will have an impact on minority
persons and to develop, in cooperation with all state agencies, a
protocol for analyzing the impact of the legislation on minority
persons.

The Office of Administration is required to create and distribute
a minority impact statement form to be completed and included
with every application for a grant from a state agency.
