HB 337 -- Intimidating a Witness or Victim Sponsor: El-Amin This bill expands the crime of tampering with a witness to include tampering with a victim in an official proceeding and creates the crime of intimidating a witness or victim in the first, second, and third degrees. A person committing the crime of intimidating a witness or victim in the first degree will be guilty of a class A felony; second degree, a class B felony; and third degree, a class D felony.
