HB 385 -- Next of Kin Database

This bill requires the Driver License Bureau within the
Department of Revenue to establish, by August 1, 2010, a database
of the next of kin persons who are issued driver's licenses,
intermediate driver's licenses, commercial driver's licenses,
temporary instruction permits, and identification cards.
Information in the database will be accessible only to employees
of the bureau and to criminal justice agencies responding to the
scene of an accident or incident for the purpose of notifying the
next of kin contact person of the situation.
