HB 557 -- Unfunded Mandate Act

This bill establishes the Unfunded Mandate Act which requires
taxation of all real property owned or occupied in Missouri by
the United States government unless the state receives federal
funds unencumbered by mandates for the benefit of Missourians.

The Governor must appoint a board to review all federal mandates
to determine if they are unfunded.  If found to be unfunded, the
state will not participate in the mandate.
