HB 586 -- Unauthorized Disclosure of Medical Information

This bill requires health care providers to notify a patient when
the patient's confidential medical information has been
improperly shared with a third party.  Patient notification must
be in writing by first-class mail or certified mail, return
receipt requested, within five business days of the discovery.
