HB 605 -- Performance Levy for School Funding

Currently, the performance levy for state school aid calculation
is $3.43.  Beginning in Fiscal Year 2010, this bill lowers the
performance levy by five cents each year until Fiscal Year 2018,
when it will be lowered by three cents and remain at $3.00
thereafter.

The bill contains an emergency clause and becomes effective
July 1, 2009.
