HB 622 -- Court Records for Sexual Offenses

Currently, a victim of sexual assault, domestic assault,
stalking, or forcible rape is protected from being identified by
having his or her name redacted from the public record prior to
disclosure to the public.  This bill specifies that the name of
any defendant in a criminal case for these crimes will not be
considered identifying information and will not be redacted from
court records.
