HB 653 -- Summer School Attendance Penalty for State School Aid

Currently, a penalty is subtracted from a school district's state
school aid if the district's summer school attendance drops more
than 35% from its 2005-2006 summer school attendance.  This bill
exempts a district from the penalty for school years 2009-2010
through 2011-2012 if its current summer school attendance is at
least 65% of its elementary school's average daily attendance for
the current year.
