HB 667 -- Sheriff Qualifications

This bill requires all sheriffs in the state except St. Louis
County to have a valid peace officer license before executing the
police powers of that office.  Nothing in the bill will prevent
the sheriff from administering the execution of police powers
through duly commissioned deputy sheriffs.
