HB 676 -- Income Tax Credit for Poll Workers

Beginning January 1, 2010, this bill authorizes an income tax
credit for service as a poll worker.  Anyone who serves as a poll
worker will receive a $50 tax credit for each election, up to a
maximum $100 tax credit per year.  The tax credits are not
refundable or transferable, but may be carried forward five years
or carried back three years.

The provisions of the bill will expire December 31 six years from
the effective date.
