HB 679 -- Limited Licenses for Retired Dentists

This bill establishes a limited license for a retired dentist.
Dentists wishing to practice dentistry under a limited license
must provide the Missouri Dental Board within the Department of
Insurance, Financial Institutions and Professional Registration
with evidence that they have practiced dentistry for at least 10
years and their license was in good standing at the time of their
retirement.  Dentists with limited licenses may only provide
dental services without compensation to family members, public
schools, and certain health departments and health centers.

The board cannot require more than five hours of continuing
education annually and cannot charge an application fee of more
than $25.
