HB 685 -- Search Warrants

This bill specifies that the State Highway Patrol, not the county
sheriff, will have the authority to serve search warrants for
offenses relating to driving while intoxicated and the
investigation of motor vehicle traffic accidents.  The patrol
will not be required to notify the county sheriff of the search
warrant in these cases.
