HB 710 -- Transient Guest Tax

This bill authorizes the City of Joplin to impose, upon voter
approval, a transient guest tax of up to 8% per occupied room,
per night for the promotion of tourism including, but not limited
to, the construction, maintenance, and operation of tourism,
cultural, artistic, and other attractions and amenities.
