HB 850 -- Continuing Education for Embalmers and Funeral
Directors

This bill requires licensed embalmers and funeral directors
renewing their licenses to provide the State Board of Embalmers
and Funeral Directors within the Department of Insurance,
Financial Institutions and Professional Registration with
evidence that they have completed at least six hours of
board-approved continuing education, with at least two of those
hours on preneed funeral contracts.
