HB 856 -- Rules of Civil Procedure

This bill specifies that the formal rules of discovery as
established in Rules 56 - 61 of the Missouri Rules of Civil
Procedure will not apply, unless good cause is shown, in cases
before certain associate circuit court judges when the defendant
is not represented by counsel.  Formal rules of discovery will
apply if the defendant subsequently retains counsel.
