HB 874 -- Public Attorney Technology Fund

This bill authorizes an additional $1 fee in all civil cases with
the funds to be deposited into the newly created Public Attorney
Technology Fund.  The fund will be administered by the Attorney
General and used by prosecuting and circuit attorneys and public
defenders who request money for the sole purpose of acquiring or
improving technology in their respective offices.  The Attorney
General must establish rules and regulations to govern the
process for requesting funds and determining fund awards.
