HB 898 -- Telecommunication Access Rates

Beginning January 1, 2010, this bill requires local exchange
networks to reduce their composite interstate exchange access
rates by 5% each year for three years.  Any company failing to do
so will be subject to a penalty as specified in Section 386.570,
RSMo.  The provisions of the bill do not apply to interconnected
voice over Internet protocol service providers.
