HB 964 -- False Declarations

Sponsor:  Keeney

This bill expands the crime of making a false declaration for the
purpose of misleading a public servant in the performance of his
or her duty, a class B misdemeanor, to include providing any
verbal false statement regarding a person's identity, which the
person believes or knows not to be true.
