HB 995 -- Missouri Healthy Workplace Recognition Program

This bill requires the Department of Health and Senior Services
to establish and develop the Missouri Healthy Workplace
Recognition Program to recognize employers with more than 50
employees for excellence in promoting health, wellness, and
prevention.  The bill specifies the minimum criteria to receive
the official state recognition.  Five employers annually will be
designated as the healthiest places to work in Missouri.  The
information will be posted on the department's web site, and the
employer will receive a plaque.

The provisions of the bill will expire six years from the
effective date.
