HCS HB 124 -- JOINT COMMITTEE ON TERRORISM, BIOTERRORISM, AND
HOMELAND SECURITY (Komo)

COMMITTEE OF ORIGIN:  Committee on Homeland Security

This substitute expands the duties of the Joint Committee on
Terrorism, Bioterrorism, and Homeland Security to include making
a continuing study and analysis of the feasibility of compiling
information relevant to immigration enforcement issues.

The expiration date for the joint committee is extended from
December 31, 2009, to December 31, 2011.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds in FY 2010, FY 2011, and
FY 2012.
