HB 861 -- ASSISTANT ADJUTANTS GENERAL (Day)

COMMITTEE OF ORIGIN:  Committee on Veterans

This bill allows the Adjutant General to assign the number of
assistant adjutants general that are authorized by the rules and
regulations of the National Guard Bureau of the United States.
The assistants are required to hold military rank as approved for
the position by the Governor and the bureau.  Currently, the
Adjutant General may only assign two assistants.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds in FY 2010, FY 2011, and
FY 2012.
