Summary of the Truly Agreed Version of the Bill

SCS HCS HB 236 -- STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES

This bill establishes Kaitlyn's Law which requires each school
district with a high school to establish a policy and adopt
procedures that allow certain students with disabilities who have
completed four years of high school to participate in their
graduation ceremony and all related activities.  Timely and
meaningful written notice of the policy and procedures must be
given to students with disabilities and to their parents or
guardians.

The bill contains an emergency clause.
