SS HCS HB 381 -- FEE OFFICE CONTRACTS

This bill requires the Director of the Department of Revenue to
award fee office contracts through a competitive bidding process
and give preference to organizations and entities that are exempt
from taxation under Section 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(6) of the federal
Internal Revenue Code and to political subdivisions.  The State
Auditor may audit all records of fee offices in the same manner
as any state agency.
