HB 682 -- SCHOOL MAKE-UP DAYS DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER

Currently, schools are required to make up the first six days of
school lost or canceled due to inclement weather and half of the
additional days lost or canceled in excess of the first six.
This bill allows an exception for the 2008-2009 school year by
requiring schools to make up half of the additional lost or
canceled days up to a total of 10 full make-up days.

The bill contains an emergency clause.
