HCS HB 1903 -- FEDERAL BUDGET STABILIZATION EXTENSION FUND

SPONSOR:  Icet

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass" by the Committee on Budget by
a vote of 27 to 0.

This substitute creates the Federal Budget Stabilization
Extension Fund to receive moneys from any federal job creation
legislation enacted by the 111th United States Congress.

The substitute contains an emergency clause.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds in FY 2011, FY 2012, and
FY 2013.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that the bill is necessary to provide
a fund for the deposit of any federal dollars received and to
track and appropriate the moneys accordingly.

Testifying for the bill was Representative Icet.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
