HCS HB 1965 -- REPEAL OF EXPIRED STATUTES SPONSOR: Jones, 89 (McNary) COMMITTEE ACTION: Voted "do pass" by the Special Committee on General Laws by a vote of 13 to 0. This substitute repeals various expired provisions in the Revised Statutes of Missouri as identified in the January 2010 Annual Report of the Joint Committee on Legislative Research on Laws Which Expire, Sunset, Terminate, or Become Ineffective. FISCAL NOTE: Estimated Income on General Revenue Fund of Unknown less than $100,000 in FY 2011, FY 2012, and FY 2013. No impact on Other State Funds in FY 2011, FY 2012, and FY 2013. PROPONENTS: Supporters say that the bill simply removes obsolete statutes that are legally ineffective for various reasons. Testifying for the bill was Representative McNary.
